13th Annual Meeting of the Lupus Academy

Our hybrid meeting was held 6-8th September 2024 in Hoofddorp, Amsterdam.
You can still register as a virtual participant to be able to view all plenary sessions including Q&A and panel discussions on demand until 31st December 2024. Credits apply to catch up sessions.

Catch up Session Registration

Lupus Academy aims to provide global education at the lowest cost possible for participants. We only request a small contribution to cover direct individual cost.

In person registration fees include:
  • Full access to all sessions
  • Meeting food and beverage (coffee breaks, 2 lunches and a networking reception)
  • Meeting materials
  • Return coach transfer into Amsterdam city center on Saturday evening
  • Access to all catch up plenary sessions, including discussions and Q&A after the event
* Please provide a letter from your institute confirming your position and send it to secretariat@lupus-academy.org within 10 days of registering.
** Three plenary sessions are live streamed in which you can participate actively. Access to all recorded plenary sessions including Q&A after the event. Workshops are not available virtually.

Accommodation

At this time booking online is no longer possible. Our group block is mostly full and further reservations would need to be checked on an individual basis. If you wish to profit from the group rate, kindly contact the Nicole at secretariat@lupus-academy.org to see about availability. Alternatively, you can attempt to book directly through the hotel website.

We offer the opportunity to include a bedroom booking at the Van der Valk Hotel Schiphol hotel with your meeting package.

We have secured a group bedrooms rate of € 147.00 per night, single occupancy, including breakfast and 10% VAT.

Double occupancy adds the additional breakfast: € 167.00 per night, also including 10% VAT.

Tourist tax needs to be added: € 4.90 pppn: single use total costs per night € 151.90 and double use € 176.80.

Hotel cancellation policy

Cancellation is free of charge until 15th July 2024. After this date, if we are able to resell your bedroom, you will get the full costs refunded. This arrangement applies until 20th Augustus 2024 from which time no refunds are possible. Name changes are free of charge until 30th August 2024. After this a € 15.00 change fee applies.

You are sharing a bedroom with another participant. Kindly indicate with whom so we can provide the hotel with this required information.

Note: at the meeting hotel group rates are not available for participants that book directly with the hotel or via hotel booking sites.

Workshops

On the 7th of September parallel workshops have been scheduled which are repeated in the afternoon, giving you the opportunity to attend two different workshops.

Cancellation and Privacy policy

Registration packages can be cancelled free of charge until 1 June. After this a cancellation fee of 75 EUR will be charged. From 1 August, registration packages are non-refundable.
Name changes are possible free of charge until 15th August. After this a 15 EUR change fee will apply.

Virtual participation is always non-refundable since costs to process are higher than the original fee.
Name changes are possible free of charge until 3 September.
